I'm Alison, an IAHIP accredited and practicing Psychotherapist.
I have over 20 years experience in Adult mental health and Addiction services. My approach to much of my work is Trauma informed and I have specific training in Complex Generational Trauma. My work is relational and is influenced by attachment theory.
I also work with Adolescents, providing Counselling in schools. I have an interest in Parenting issues and Mediation for Couples who are separating.
My Masters in Integrative Psychotherapy and Supervision training is influenced by my areas of interest in Art and Dream analysis, as creative therapeutic, processes. I also bring my own spiritual and meditative journey to this work.
My work in the HSE and my private practice Is influenced by my training in Somatic experiencing, where the mind-body connection is invaluable for establishing secure attachment within yourself. Counselling clients online in Dublin and Cork
